“When there is no fish in one spot, cast your net in another.” — Chinese proverb
A vision is something with a plan attached to it. Not like a dream, but a step up from one. The obstacles and the hurdles along the way doesn’t really appear until you’ve began. The planning stages usually seem like the easy part. Once you start, usually with a strong first step, getting towards the completion part might sometimes be the hardest.
The signs to give up or to stop, should be reminders that you’re moving forward. Instead of stopping or giving up, rest a little bit, then resume with perseverance. Getting to the completion is where you receive your evaluation and can later add that you finished strong… Hopefully. The start and the end are two different events. The finish could also be called the reunion. I call it the reunion because you get to find out after all that time, what exactly changed or what improved. This is where you also get to evaluate your own work and look for room for improvement.
While heading towards the reunion don’t forget to give it your best shot. Though you’re not getting graded, you can somewhat see it as a way to measure your level of commitment, hunger, smarts, and humbleness.
Keep on Striving!
